Vision / About Us

To create an automotive industry where no shop has to diagnose and repair vehicles alone.

A note from our founder

“All-in-one should feel like one system.”

Nearly every shop management system claims to be all-in-one. Putting more features under one login, however, does not automatically create one cohesive product.

Technicians experience that disconnect every day. The customer’s concern is written in one place. Vehicle history lives somewhere else. Recommendations, procedures, specifications, parts, and previous repairs are scattered across separate screens and tools. The system may technically contain everything, yet the technician is still responsible for finding it and putting it all together.

BayHive was designed differently.

Before moving into product, I was an engineer. That background taught me that great software is not created by simply adding more features. It requires deep systems thinking. Every workflow, object, and decision needs to be designed as part of a larger whole.

That thinking has been part of BayHive from day one, and it starts with the technician.

A technician should be able to open a repair and immediately understand why the vehicle is there, what has happened before, what has already been recommended, and what information is available to complete the work. They should not have to hunt through the system or interrupt someone at the front counter to find information the shop already has.

That same thinking extends across the entire shop. Advisors can begin the repair process while speaking with the customer instead of scheduling in one place and recreating the information somewhere else. Labor guide data and the shop’s own canned jobs come together in one service guide. Parts can be sourced and ordered where they are needed. Recommendations remain connected to the vehicle and follow it into future visits.

To us, all-in-one does not mean checking every box. It means every checked box works harmoniously with the rest of the system.

These are not small details. They reduce interruptions, eliminate duplicate work, and help technicians stay focused on diagnosing and repairing vehicles instead of navigating software.

We are not building BayHive to win a feature comparison. We are building one coherent, technician-first shop management system where every part works together because it was designed to work together.

That is what all-in-one should mean.

The future unfolding

From individual experience to shared progress.

1. The work starts in the bay.

Technology begins with the technicians performing the work and the real conditions they encounter.

2. The repair creates shared context.

Servhice information, vehicle history, customer concerns, parts, decisions, and technician experience stay connected to the job.

3. Experience becomes reusable.

Jobs, notes, videos, repair nuances, causes, and confirmed fixes remain useful after the repair is closed.

4. Knowledge moves across the shop.

Technicians, advisors, managers, and owners can understand the same work from the context that matters to them.

5. Every contribution helps the next repair.

What one person or shop learns becomes part of a stronger collective intelligence for the people solving the next problem.

Mission

To build technology that brings the automotive industry together instead of pushing it further apart.

Core values

These beliefs define the people who belong here and the decisions BayHive is willing to make.

01 · Burn the Playbook

We aren’t here to build another shop management system. We’re here to rethink how the industry works.

Challenge assumptions. Question legacy workflows. Don’t build features just because every other platform has them. The best solutions often come from ignoring “the way it’s always been done.”

It also means we aren’t following the typical corporate greed model. We’re building something for our customers first, and we trust that by delivering real value, they will reward us with loyalty.

Innovation starts by having the courage to throw away the old playbook.

02 · Find a Way

Ownership doesn’t stop at your job description.

When you encounter a problem, don’t wait for someone else to solve it. Ask questions, seek help, collaborate, and find a way forward. Resourcefulness beats perfection, and momentum beats excuses.

Our customers depend on us to solve hard problems. We find a way.

03 · The Best Idea Wins

Great ideas can come from anyone.

Leave titles and egos at the door. Debate passionately, listen actively, and be willing to change your mind when someone has a better solution.

We don’t care whose idea it is. We care that we build the best one.

04 · Learn from Your Scars

Mistakes are inevitable. Repeating them isn’t.

Take risks. Experiment. Move fast enough to learn. When something doesn’t go as planned, own it, understand it, and share what you learned so the entire team gets stronger.

Every scar should make us better.

05 · Truth Over Comfort

Honesty builds trust.

Speak up when something isn’t right. Give feedback with respect. Share bad news early. Be transparent with teammates and customers, even when the conversation is uncomfortable.

The hardest conversations are often the most important ones.

06 · Enjoy the Ride

Building something great should be fun.

Celebrate wins, laugh often, and don’t take yourself too seriously. We work hard because we care, but we also believe great teams enjoy building together.

Life is too short not to enjoy the journey.
